Welcome to the future!

Every year on the 1st March we celebrate the future with World Future Day. It is a day where we get to explore and discuss all the amazing possibilities and opportunities that lies within the interface of technology and people. Cause the future is fantastic and we want to celebrate and explore it together with you. 

Therefore we welcome you to join us for interesting talks about technology and how it can impact our future. Do you have thoughts about how AI can impact us as people and societies? Or maybe you want to get some hands on learning about how we can utilize technology and AI to work more sustainable? Check out our all day program below, or simply sign up for the single slot that interests you. 

Join our host and technology expert Eirik Norman Hansen at Epicenter on 1st March for a day where we talk about the future and people, society and sustainability. To get access to the program, make sure to complete the registration form. 

There will be a break between the morning program and the afternoon program where you are free to work from Epicenter as you home of the day. Eirik is our own Chief Disruption Officer. He loves technology. And he loves the future. That combination makes the perfect host of World Future Day. 

He has his own podcast, "30 minutes into the future" where he invites guests to discuss the future - and how it is fantastic. Eirik is a professional keynote speaker, moderator and communications coach. He has been a TEDx speaker and been nominated for speaker of the year by Talerlisten every year since the award started, an award he also won in 2018.

Professor

Morten Goodwin is a full professor in artificial intelligence at the University of Agder, adjunct professor at OsloMet, co-founder and CTO of AIVEO, chief scientist of AI:hub, deputy director of Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research, and one of Norway's foremost experts on artificial intelligence. He alternates between being a professor, teacher, public debater, communicator, author, and CTO.

To us, that is sufficient to simply call him Mr AI.

Per Christian leads the commercial part of Snapchat Norway. In his role as Head of Sales he helps advertisers to grow their business through the Snapchat platform. Per Christian has several years of experience with sales, marketing and branding in Snapchat, Carat and Tine. Mathias G. Backsæther
Product Manager for Carbon Accounting at Ignite Procurement

Mathias started in Ignite as a software engineer but realized over time that with his passion for sustainability he could contribute more on the topic of carbon accounting. He has since developed their module for transparently calculating a company’s indirect greenhouse gas emissions, currently in use by several major corporations for their sustainability reporting. These scope 3 emissions are both typically hard to manage and usually the largest source of a company’s total emissions.

Morten Krogh-Moe is a senior business consultant and enterprise architect.He has over 20 years’ experience with digital solutions. The last 9 years as CEO of Sannsyn which is a specialist company within marketing automations, personalization technology and search.
